BCCI Send Teams to South Africa for Checking:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) sent his team to South Africa for inspection regarding the preparation for IPL 2019. BCCI is considering South Africa as one of the alternative venues countries for 2019 IPL. Board already decided to check the arrangement and fixing the home ground for 8 teams. Accordingly, Hemang Amit and Navneet Kaur will travel to Johannesburg, Durban, Capetown, and Port Elizabeth to discuss the proposal for 45 days tournament. The news update confirms about Quinton De Kock to play for New Franchise in IPL 2019.
BCCI already intimated Cricket South Africa(CSA) that the event to schedule in the first quarter of the year. Both boards want to make sure that the tournament doesn’t clash with the domestic season in the proteas land. The franchises are busy in preparation for the upcoming edition.
In 2014 IPL’s first 20 matches scheduled in UAE because of the election in India. Franchises were not happy because the pitches at UAE were slow compared to Indian and South African pitches. So this time IPL Governing bodies decided to move to South Africa for IPL 2019.

The South African Wicket Keeper Batsman Quanton De Kock sold to Mumbai Indians. Last in Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased Quanton De Kock in the auction for 2.8cr. Quanton De Kock scored 201 runs for RCB in last years Ipl. Mumbai Indians buys Quinton De Kock and released Mustafizur Rahman and Akila Dananjaya. Mustafizur whom MI bought for 2.2cr and Akila Dananjaya for 50 lakhs in Last years IPL. QUANTON De Kock will reduce the pressure of Evin Lewis, on whom Mi depended for flying starts.
Last Date for Retention and Released announced:
Ipl governing bodies has given the teams two opportunities, either swap or let go players in the offseason window and midseason window for uncapped players who played less than 2 games. 15th November 2018 is the last date for all the 8 teams to submit the list of Retained Players and the list of players whom they want to put in auction pool. Governing Council of IPL will announce the venues of IPL 2019.
